Lieutenant Colonel Randall A. "Randy" Parker (US Army, Retired), born and
raised in Texas, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting
from Texas A&I University (now Texas A & M University - Kingsville) and a
Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law. His military schooling
included the Armed Forces Staff College, Command and General Staff College,
the Judge Advocate General's Corps Basic and Graduate Courses (LLM
equivalent), and the Field Artillery Officer Basic and Advanced Courses.
He is licensed before all of the State Courts of Texas, US Military Courts,
the US District Courts for the Western and Southern Districts of Texas, and
the United States Supreme Court.
In the Army, he initially served as a Field Artillery Officer providing
leadership in a variety of artillery, nuclear weapons, security, and
personnel positions in the United States and Germany. He then transferred to the
Judge Advocate General's Corps where he served in ever increasing positions
of responsibility, including service as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate (SJA)
of US Army Garrison, Fort Sam Houston; as the 2d Armored Division SJA at Fort
Hood; and as the Fifth US Army SJA, Fort Sam Houston.
After his military retirement, he served as an Assistant Criminal District
Attorney in Bexar County, Texas, and as the Managing Attorney for Group
Legal Services which provided legal assistance services to San Antonio Police
Officers and Firefighters before going into private practice.
He is a member of the Boards of Directors for the Army Residence Community, and for the Bexar County D.A.R.E. Program. He is married and has three grown children.
